make -f Makefile-linux-glibc-2.3-gcc-3.2 を使用して問題
なく使えてます。(gccのバージョンが合っていませんが、多分compatiblity
が 3.x 系ではとれているのだろうと思っています。

とあるので、2.95 系と 2.96系は互換なしと思っています。そういう意味で、
QNでは3.x系のメインストリーム用 makefile を標準と考えているように
思いました。
